I'm a drummer and music educator based in the South Georgian Bay region, offering live performance, private instruction, session work, and music clinics. I work with students, musicians, schools, and community organizations, bringing a practical, supportive approach built on years of performance, recording, and teaching experience.

Drum Lessons

I believe the best music lessons balance solid fundamentals with the student's own interests and goals. I work with drummers of all ages and experience levels, from complete beginners to experienced players looking to refine specific skills. Lessons can include technique, reading, coordination, groove, improvisation, ear training, music theory, and performance preparation. My aim is to help students become confident, well-rounded musicians while keeping the process enjoyable and engaging.

Live Performance

I've been performing for over a decade in a wide range of musical settings, including original projects, cover bands, concert bands, wedding bands, and more. My approach is simple: serve the music, support the people around me, and make every performance feel good. I'm comfortable playing in a variety of styles, reading charts, working with click tracks, and adapting quickly to different musical situations. Whether it's a small acoustic show, a packed venue, or a pit orchestra, my goal is always to be prepared, reliable, and musical.

Drum Tracking

As both a performer and a music educator, I've spent years developing the skills needed to deliver dependable drum tracks in the studio. I can work from charts, demos, reference recordings, or simple musical direction, and I'm comfortable recording to a click track when required. My focus is on finding parts that support the song rather than drawing attention away from it. Whether a project calls for something simple and understated or more creative and detailed, I strive to provide professional performances that help bring the music to life.

Bio

I am a full-time professional drummer and drum teacher with an Advanced Diploma in Music Performance and a certificate in Independent Music Production from Cambrian College. I have been performing and teaching full-time for seven years and have been playing for over 20 years. I am passionate about all things music and am dedicated to sharing that passion with my students and collaborators. I am a member of the Central Ontario Musicians Association, and I've taught students from ages four to 70, including those with disabilities. From private lessons to live performances and studio work, my goal is always to deliver high-quality musical experiences. I play almost all styles of music, can read music, sing harmonies and lead vocals, and play the guitar.
